Based on 15th century French Slab ended bench located in the metropolitan Museum of Art, more details provided in attached documentation.

Finished product is entirely wood, no nails, screws, or glue.

Both modern and hand tools were utilized, details shown in attached documentation.

The general process was to cut a single board into 5 pieces designed to fit into each other, allowing for a snug but collapsible fit. Details can be found within attached documentation.

Were I to duplicate this project, I would utilize thinner stock and utilize a jigsaw for decorative cuts.
